This is necessary in order for the correct version of the PHYLock driver to be installed. If you have PHYLock installed under a prior version of Windows and then perform an upgrade installation of Windows Vista or Windows 7/8.x/10, you must reinstall PHYLock if you wish to use it under the new version of Windows.
